Day 19| Charisma Fozard-Thomas| High Tide Legal
Charisma Fozard-Thomas, the founding attorney at High Tide Legal, is a graduate of the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing (2012) and earned her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law (2017, Cum Laude).
While attending NCCU School of Law, Charisma was a highly acclaimed student. Her achievements include Dean’s List for Fall 2014, Fall 2015, Spring 2016, Fall 2016, Spring 2017; Law Review Editor for North Carolina Central Law Review, vol. 39, and a founding member of the first student body Tax Council at NCCU School of Law.
In 2018, Charisma became an active member of the South Carolina Bar, and in 2019 was sworn in as a member of the North Carolina Bar. Prior to becoming a solo practitioner, Charisma worked as a Paralegal at the North Carolina Department of Justice in the Revenue (Tax) Section.
Charisma founded High Tide Legal in 2019 to address the business and legal needs of entrepreneurs, small business owners, and non-profit organizations. She is passionate about the success of businesses, the vision and drive of entrepreneurs, and the growth and sustainability of small businesses. Charisma believes that expansion done right in business will yield the success, sustainability, and growth of more small and local businesses around the world today. To Charisma, business acumen goes hand and hand with her legal counsel. As your attorney, you not only get her training in the law, but you also get her passion for business consulting as a whole.
At a personal level, Charisma is a wife and a mother to four children. She is an active member in her local church and strongly believes in community, giving, and helping others.
